Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a 2-year graduate degree program, the minimum eligibility is the 12th class from a recognized school board or its equivalent exam. Interested candidates can get admission to Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology on the basis of the aspirant’s performance in a relevant entrance exam, and a subsequent round of counseling.

What is (DOTA)

A diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and ailments through the use of clinical laboratory tests. In this program, the candidates learn to perform tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This program also equips candidates with the knowledge and skills required to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate laboratory tests.

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology: Eligibility

Candidates for this 3 year program leading to the DOT should have passed SSLC and the 2-year pre university examination (10+2) with English as one of the subject along with physics, chemistry, biology / maths as subject.

They should have passed any other examination recognized as equivalent to 2-year Pre University selected on merit in their performance entrance test interview held by the college. Students undergo a period of certified study over 3 academic year from the date of commencement of classes for subjects according to the prescribed curriculum till completion of the examination following by 1 year compulsory internship. English shall be the medium of instruction for all subject examinations.
